TLC, under the leadership of the Ackerman family, is a new Jewish organization on the UT campus that offers a listening ear, a place to hang out, a home-cooked meal and anything else we can think of.

If you’re looking for a relaxing Shabbat in a warm, family atmosphere, or just a mid-week pick me up to get you through to the weekend, come on over. The door is always open, the food always sumptuous, and the kids always cute.

Rabbi Ackerman can usually be found somewhere on the campus. You might not notice him, because he looks a little more relaxed than you may expect. Always approachable, he is available for a quick chat or a longer shmooze, whichever you prefer.
